Though it has been said that condoms help prevent infection, it is not entirely true as diseases like herpes and warts affects the skin alone. Since you are not aware of the signs and symptoms of certain diseases it is better to seek professional help so as to clear doubts of you being infected with an STD. in most cases, these STD's are spread due to the occurrence of a bacterial infection and in some cases it is due to viral infections. Bacterial infections can be cured, while viral infection cannot be cured but prevented from progressing by usage of suitable medications and treatment. Every person should take individual responsibility to curb the spread of sexual diseases.
